Advocacy

·      Fight for Curtin to divest from weapons and military companies and ensure university investments are not contributing to war or human rights abuses.

·      STOP THE UNI MERGER!!! Fight on a state level and with other universities to make sure that Curtin stays Curtin

·      Push Curtin to divest from environmentally unsustainable companies and strengthen ethical and sustainable investment commitments.

·      Hold Curtin accountable to the commitments made through the MOU following the student encampment - ensuring those commitments continue beyond the Ben-Gvir disaffiliation and are meaningfully implemented.

·      Protect student advocacy and political expression as the University considers adopting definitions relating to racism, discrimination and hate, ensuring these frameworks cannot be misused to silence legitimate criticism, protest or advocacy.

·      Stand against the rise of far-right extremism, racism and discrimination on campus and ensure students targeted by hate are properly supported.

·      Create and protect safe spaces on campus where students from marginalised and targeted communities can organise, connect and access support.
