Transparency & Your Guild

If elected to the guild, elevate YOUR VOICE will fight for:

· Livestream Guild Council and Representation Board where appropriate.

· Make it clearer students can watch and engage with Guild governance.

· Publish a President's Wrapped weekly of updates especially from board meetings.

· Make major Guild decisions easier for students to follow.

· Regularly communicate what elected representatives are actually working on.

· Better advertise vacancies.

· Explain what positions actually do.

· Promote elections across more Guild channels.

· Make pathways into student representation easier to understand.

· More transparency around major Guild spending.

· More transparency and information about SSAF and ISSAF.

· Student involvement in major University committees and working groups.

· Consultation before major academic and campus changes.

· Stronger feedback loops.

· Clear reporting back after consultation.

· Representatives going directly to students.

· Visit classes, especially where there are ongoing problems.

· Speak with MORE students about their issues.

· Get students directly involved with Guild campaigns.

· Build the Guild's ability to actually mobilise students around student interests.
